Aerial pictures and X-Deal (2011)videos of a massive traffic jam during the Thanksgiving getaway in the Los Angeles area have caused hilarious reactions on social media.

The gridlock on the Interstate 405 in Los Angeles -- one of the busiest routes in the U.S. -- was filmed by KABC-TV as millions of Americans travel over the holidays.

The American Automobile Association says almost 49 million people will travel at least 50 miles or more from home this Thanksgiving -- a million more than last year and the most since 2007.
